My professional life has been entertaining, heartbreaking, backbreaking, frustrating and unpredictable, but seldom boring. Among my misadventures I have worked as an animal keeper at the Playboy Mansion, trained a failed racehorse, edited film trailers and TV commercials, managed the screening rooms at Walt Disney Studios, cleaned cabins and cooked meals at an Ashram, worked as a nurse in the operating room assisting in brain surgeries and performed COVID tests in a parking garage at Warner Brothers Studios.
In addition to a resume that reads more like an absurdist novella, crippling self doubt and a bad lower back, my unusual career path has provided me with an endless supply of source material for my writing, which ranges from absurdly dark poetry to absurdly hopeful romances.
I like oddballs, rule breakers and old dogs. I hate bullies. I appreciate sarcasm and kindness and I always root for the underdog.
